Creative Moulds & Dies

If you head over to Sakinaka and find Sankar Nagar Society J 2, you’ll find us at Creative Moulds & Dies. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the local workshops know where we are. We spend our days making moulds and dies for different manufacturing jobs. It’s noisy and there’s always some oil on the floor, but that’s just how this kind of work goes. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. Usually, you’ll just find one of us covered in shop dust working on a machine. We started this place because we liked the idea of making things from scratch. It’s satisfying to see a finished die come off the bench. We get all sorts of customers, from big factories to guys just starting their own small projects. We don't use a lot of big words to explain what we do. We just look at the drawings and see if we can make it happen. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them ourselves. That’s just part of the job when you run a place like this. Sakinaka is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We’re just regular people doing a regular job, trying to get things right the first time.
