Continental Belting

Our place is tucked away in Malad East, specifically at room 703. If you come looking for Continental Belting, you will find us surrounded by rolls of rubber and various industrial belts. It’s more of a functional space than a fancy showroom. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and cutting things to the right length for people who need them for their machines. The building is usually quite busy with people coming and going. We have been working with these belts for a long time, so we know which ones hold up and which ones don't. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here when a big shipment arrives and we have to move everything around to make space. We handle all sorts of orders, some small and some quite heavy. It’s not the kind of job where you sit at a desk all day. We are usually on our feet, measuring things or talking to transport guys about deliveries. Malad is a crowded area, but we like being here because it’s easy for people to find us. We don’t use any high-tech systems to track everything; we just know where things are kept. It’s a straightforward business. We just provide the belts that keep other people’s machines running. Most of our day is just spent making sure the right roll goes to the right person without too much fuss. That is how we run things here at our office.
