Our place is at 138, Mittal Indl.Estatebuilding No-6, Andheri-Kurla Road Andheri(East). This part of the city is always moving, and the noise from the traffic and the planes overhead is something we just live with. Contec Airflow Project Pvt. Ltd. is basically a workspace where we figure out the details of various projects. It’s not a showroom. We have maps, blueprints, and a lot of equipment lying around that might look like a mess to someone else, but we know where everything is. The office is a bit cramped, but it keeps us all close enough to talk without having to get up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer, trying to make sure the airflow designs are right. There’s no fancy lobby or coffee machine that makes lattes; we just have a basic kettle and some mugs. The lights are a bit bright, and the floor is just plain linoleum. We don't put on a show for anyone. If you come by, you’ll see us in our regular clothes, probably looking a bit tired but focused on the task. The Mittal estate is a huge place, and we are just one small part of it, doing our work every day. We focus on the practical side of things and don't worry about much else. It gets pretty hot in here by midday, so the fans are always on. The commute to Andheri is a bit of a headache, but we've gotten used to it.
