Our office is up on the third floor of Anusaya Sadan on R H B Road. If you know Mulund West, you know how busy it gets around here. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, handling all the paperwork and coordination that goes into shipping stuff across the water. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office with desks, computers, and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes the landline rings off the hook, and other times we are just staring at tracking numbers on the screen. There are a few of us here, and we usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, though mostly we just hear the traffic from down below. My mobile number is usually on because things happen at odd hours in this business. Ships don't really wait for office hours, so sometimes I’m answering calls late at night from home too. It’s a lot of back and forth with different ports and agents. We don't really do the flashy stuff, just the day-to-day grind of making sure containers get where they are supposed to go. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the stalls nearby or a tiffin from home. It’s a quiet routine in a loud city. We know the neighbors in the building well, and we've seen businesses come and go on this street while we just keep doing our thing up here on the third floor. It's a bit dusty, but it works for us.
