Conex

Conex is situated up on the 14th floor of Dalamal Tower, which is right in the middle of Nariman Point. Being on the 14th floor means we spend a decent amount of time waiting for the elevators every day, especially during the lunch rush. The address is 1406, so we are a bit further down the hallway. Nariman Point is always bustling with people in a hurry, and sometimes it feels a bit much, but we have our routine. Our office isn't one of those modern spaces with bean bags and ping-pong tables. It is just a regular place with desks and a lot of computers. We keep things pretty straightforward here. We don't have a receptionist sitting at the front; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. Most of our work is done on phones or computers, so it stays fairly quiet inside. Sometimes we look out the window just to see what the weather is doing over the city. It is a long way down to the street. We’ve been at this location for some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. People come and go, businesses change names, but we are still here at 1406. It is a solid place to work, even if the commute through Mumbai traffic can be a bit of a slog some mornings.
