We are based in Thane at 1005, Penrith-A, inside the Hiranandani Estate. If you know Mumbai and the surrounding areas, you know this estate is pretty big. Being part of Colliers International here means we deal with a lot of property matters and buildings. The office is usually full of maps and blueprints or people talking about square footage. It is not always easy because the market changes so fast. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out visiting sites around Thane and Mumbai. The weather can be a bit much during monsoon season but we still go out. Our spot in Penrith-A is easy to find once you are in the estate. We don't have a huge flashy setup, just a working space where we get things sorted. People come in asking about commercial spaces or land and we try to give them the straight facts. There is a lot of paperwork involved in what we do. It can get tedious but it is part of the life here. We have a group of people who have been doing this for a long time. We know the streets of Thane well. It is just a matter of showing up every morning and seeing what the day brings. No two days are quite the same in real estate. We just keep at it. Sometimes we have to meet clients late in the evening or on weekends when they are free.
