We're located down at 74 P S V Road, right in S V Lane. It’s pretty close to Gundecha Tower, so most people find us okay. At Collets & Tools Manufacturing Company, we focus on making the stuff that other shops use. It’s a lot of precision work, which means we spend a lot of time hunched over the machines making sure everything is lined up right. The shop is a bit cramped because we have so many tools and pieces of equipment packed in there, but we know where everything is. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and someone will be there at a lathe or a grinder. We’ve been in this lane for quite a while now. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks. It's a steady life. We make collets and various tools that people need for their manufacturing setups. Some days are longer than others depending on how many orders we have to get out. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. It’s practical work. We like being near the tower because it’s a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Things move along at their own pace here. We've seen new buildings go up, but our little spot on S V Lane remains the same. It is a bit of a trek to find us if you don't know the shortcut through the back road, but once you are here, it is easy.
