Colabaarts

Our place, Colabaarts, is situated at 32 Surat Bahar on Na Swant Marg. We are right by the Colaba Fire Station Road, so it’s easy enough for most people to locate. The building is one of those older ones that you see all over this part of town. It has a lot of character, but that also means the walls are a bit thick and the stairs are narrow. We don’t have a flashy office with a reception desk or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re basically right in the middle of where we work. There are usually piles of things waiting to be sorted or sent out. It can get pretty noisy outside with the fire trucks and the general bustle of Colaba, but we don’t mind it much anymore. It’s just the sound of the neighborhood. We spend our days mostly handling the various projects we have going on. It’s a lot of hands-on stuff. We don't use much in the way of high-tech gadgets unless we really have to. The air is always a bit salty because we aren't too far from the water. We have a few fans going to keep the air moving, especially when it gets humid in the afternoons. It’s just a simple, honest workspace. We know the people in the building and the guys at the corner shop. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
