You can find us at Plot No. C-68 in Sector 4, Airoli. We’ve been based in this part of Navi Mumbai for a good while. Our main thing is separation systems and filters. It’s a lot of metalwork and engineering, really. The workshop can get pretty noisy when the welding is going on or when the grinders are running. We aren't a giant multinational; we’re just a group of people who know how to build these systems correctly. The air in Airoli can be a bit salty since we aren't too far from the creek, which means we have to be extra careful with how we store our raw steel materials. We have a few desks in the front and the big workshop in the back. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time drawing out designs on scraps of paper than anything else. We don’t have any slick presentations or marketing brochures. If someone wants to know what we do, we just show them the machines we’re building at that moment. Lunch breaks are usually spent together talking about the local news or the latest cricket score. It’s a fairly relaxed atmosphere, even when we have a big deadline coming up. We just put our heads down and get the fabrication done. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. The floor is usually a bit greasy, and there are tools everywhere, but that’s how a real workshop looks.
