You can find us over at Haji Juman Chawl, right near the BMC Flyover in Andheri East. It’s a lively part of the city, that’s for sure. Teli Gali is always busy with people going to and from work. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, working on various art pieces and projects. The workshop is number 01, so it’s right there at the start. It’s not a big studio with high ceilings, just a regular space where we get our hands dirty. There’s always paint or dust around, depending on what we’re making that week. We don’t really have a front desk or anything formal. If you walk in, you’ll probably see one of us working on a frame or a canvas. Being near the flyover means there’s a constant hum of traffic, but you get used to it after a few days. We know most of the neighbors around here. It’s a tight-knit spot. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit difficult with the humidity, but we manage. We just like making things. It isn't a corporate office by any stretch of the imagination. It’s just a workspace where we spend our hours. Andheri East is a convenient place for us to be located because suppliers are close by. We just stay focused on the work at hand and try to keep things organized enough to find our tools. Most of the time, the floor is covered in scraps and leftovers from the last job.
