Our office is located at 35 Vithaldas Road, right in the heart of Lohar Chawl. We occupy the first floor of the G.K. Building. It is a bit of a maze here with all the different businesses, but we manage CK Shah & Co, Haresh Trading Co., and Viddhi Enterprises all from this single location. Lohar Chawl is always crowded, and the stairs up to the first floor are narrow, so we are constantly moving things around to make space. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character and history. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years, but we stay put. Most of our day is spent handling paperwork and talking to people who drop by. Having three names like CK Shah, Haresh, and Viddhi under one roof might seem confusing to some, but to us, it’s just the way the business grew over time. We share the desks and the phone lines. You can hear the noise from Vithaldas Road all day long, mostly horns and people shouting, but after a while, you stop noticing it. The first floor gets quite warm in the summer, so we keep the fans running full speed. It’s a practical setup for what we do. We don’t have any big signs or fancy lights, just the names on the door and a lot of work to get through before we head home.
