Lamington Road is a crazy place to work, but it’s where all the action is for electronics. We are tucked away behind Bhartiya Vidyappeth, in the Ambegaon Pathar area at 54B. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling filled with tiny components and spare parts. Half the time, the floor is covered in bubble wrap and shipping boxes because we are constantly sending things out or taking new stock in. It’s a small team here. We don't wear uniforms and we don't have a receptionist to greet you. Usually, someone just yells from the back when they hear the door open. We’ve been dealing with these parts for a long time, so we know the numbers and specs by heart. It’s a bit of a niche business, and we like it that way. We don't go in for big advertisements or sales pitches. People find us because they need a specific chip or a capacitor and they heard we might have it. It’s honest work that requires a lot of patience, especially when you’re counting out hundreds of tiny pieces for an order. We just keep our heads down, manage the inventory, and try to keep things moving as fast as we can. It's a lot of counting and checking but we enjoy the routine of it.
