We are out in Ambernath East, on Shiv Mandir Road. If you know the area, you know it’s quite a distance from the main Mumbai hustle. Our spot for Chunilal Clearing & Forwarding Pvt.Ltd is in Parivas housing society, building A/5. It’s a quiet place, or at least as quiet as it gets around here. Being in Barkucha Pada means we are close to the local life of the district. We do clearing and forwarding, which basically means a lot of documents and coordination. It’s not the most exciting work to talk about, but it’s what keeps the lights on. The office is simple. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and the usual tea stains on the coasters. The commute for some of us involves the local trains, which are always a challenge. But we’ve grown used to the routine of Shiv Mandir Road. The air feels a bit different out here in Thane district compared to the city. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice the small things anymore. It’s just about getting the papers sorted and making sure the goods move through the ports or warehouses without getting stuck. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. It’s just a practical space where we can focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, but that’s part of the trade we chose.
