Chowgule Material Handling Division

We’re located on the 4th Floor of the Bakhtawar Building in Nariman Point. It’s a famous area in Mumbai, but our office is pretty down-to-earth. Chowgule Material Handling Division is what we do. We deal with heavy equipment and machinery things, but the office itself is mostly just for the paperwork and sales side of it. Being in Nariman Point means we’re in the heart of things, but the Bakhtawar Building is an older one, so it has a lot of character. Sometimes the elevators take their time. We have a few rooms filled with brochures and technical manuals. It’s not a sleek, modern office with glass walls. It feels like a place where real work happens. We have a small team here. We spend our time talking to clients and making sure the right equipment gets to the right sites. The sea is nearby, which is nice for a walk during lunch, but mostly we are stuck inside at our desks. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone on the phone or typing away at a computer. It’s a steady job. We’ve been part of the Chowgule name for a long time, but we just focus on our specific division here on the fourth floor. It’s a lot of technical details and logistics, but we’re used to it. It’s just how we earn our living. We try to keep the coffee machine running because it's a long day.
