You can find Chirna Chemo Pharma over on Khadak Street in Masjid Bunder. We are on the third floor of the Telwala Mala building, specifically in room 34. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know it’s packed with history and narrow lanes. It’s a very traditional wholesale market area, so there’s always a lot of movement outside. Our office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. There are three of us who are usually here every day, surrounded by boxes and old filing cabinets. Being on the third floor means a lot of stairs, which keeps us moving. We don’t really have an elevator that you’d want to rely on. The work we do involves a lot of chemo-related pharma supplies, so accuracy is the main thing we worry about. It’s not a quiet office; you can always hear the carts rattling on the street below and people shouting. We don’t mind it, though. It feels like we’re right in the middle of where things happen. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or anything. We just have our names on the door and a phone that rings quite a bit. It’s a bit dusty, and the light isn't the best, but it’s our space and we’ve been here for a long time. It’s just a straightforward business in an old part of town.
