Chirdaksh Traders

Working at Chirdaksh Traders means spending a lot of time in the basement. We are located in the basement of Pravesh Apartment, which is part of the Mahadev Nagar Society. It’s quite a long address to write down, but once you know we’re near the Abhusan Complex and the Sardar Patel Bavla - Stadium Road, we aren't too hard to find. Being in a basement has its ups and downs. It stays nice and cool during the hot months, which is a big plus when the sun is beating down on the road outside. On the other hand, we don’t get much natural light, so we have to keep the big fluorescent lights on all day. The stairs leading down are a bit steep, so you have to be careful when you’re carrying things. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes and shelves. It’s a bit of a maze back there. Since we’re part of a residential society, it’s usually pretty quiet compared to being right on the main stadium road. We see the residents of Pravesh Apartment coming and going, walking their dogs or heading out to work. We’ve got a small kettle for making coffee, and that’s about as fancy as it gets for us. Chirdaksh Traders is a humble operation, but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on. It’s a practical location for what we do, even if we don't have a view of the street.
