Chip Components

We’ve been at Shop No. 10 for a while now. Most people find us by looking for the Old Hanuman Building on Shamrao Vithal Marg. It’s a busy area right off Lamington Road. We keep a lot of different chip components on the shelves because that’s what folks around here need. Usually, it’s just us sorting through boxes and helping people find specific pieces they can’t get elsewhere. We don’t do anything fancy. If someone comes in with a list, we try to see if it’s in the back or sitting right there on the counter. It gets pretty crowded sometimes with all the traffic outside. Dealing with electronics parts can be a bit tedious, but it’s what we do every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are quieter than others. We just open up the shop in the morning and stay until the evening. The address is pretty straightforward once you get near the main road. We don't have a big fancy office, just the shop space packed with stuff. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact component in the drawers, but we usually get there. It’s a practical way to earn a living. Most of our regulars are local technicians or hobbyists who know exactly what they’re looking for. We just hand over the parts and that’s about it.
