G Events

Our office is in Shop No 12 of the Jupiter Apartment building on Chikuwadi Road. It’s a nice enough area, right opposite Joggers Park. Sometimes we look out and see people running or walking their dogs while we’re inside trying to figure out schedules. G Events is a small team. We don't have a giant warehouse full of decorations here; it’s mostly where we do our planning and take phone calls. Being in Birdwadi, Tal. Khed, we handle a lot of local stuff. We spend a lot of time on our laptops or talking to vendors. The shop isn't fancy. It has some chairs, a desk, and a lot of folders. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we like that it’s near the park because it feels a little less like a crowded city. Sometimes we meet people here to talk about what they need, and other times we are out at sites all day. It’s not a 9-to-5 kind of job, so the shop might be dark at odd hours. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everything is ready when it needs to be. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right in our part of town. No big mission statements, just work. Sometimes we get coffee from the place down the road and sit in the park to clear our heads. It helps when things get a bit stressful with the event timings.
