Chikan Ghar

Chikan Ghar is located on the second floor of A 5/168 in Pantnagar. If you are looking for us, we are right next to the India Overseas Bank, which is probably the easiest landmark to use. Being on the second floor means it is a bit quieter than the street level, which we actually like most of the time. We have been in this spot for a good number of years now. It is mostly a family-run thing, so you will usually see one of us behind the counter or checking the inventory in the back room. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work by keeping things organized as much as we can. Pantnagar is a busy area, but our little corner stays pretty steady. We don't spend money on big posters or fancy websites. Most folks find out about us because they were already at the bank or someone told them to come upstairs. We deal with Chikan work mostly, and we take it seriously without making a big fuss about it. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it, but once you’re inside, it’s a comfortable enough place to look around. We keep regular hours, though sometimes we close a bit early if the weather is really bad or things are slow. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people who know their trade well and don't feel the need for anything extra.
