Anupam Textiles

Anupam Textiles is based in Wadala, specifically at 117/126 in the Wadala Udyog Bhavan on Naigaum Cross Road. It’s a different vibe than the big open estates because we are in a multi-story industrial building. You have to take the stairs or the freight lift to get up to us. It’s usually pretty crowded in the corridors with people moving bundles of cloth around. Our space is packed with fabric samples and stacks of finished goods. It’s not a quiet place. There is always someone talking or a machine running somewhere in the building. Being in Wadala means we are right in the thick of things. The traffic outside on Naigaum Cross Road is usually heavy, so we have to time our deliveries carefully. We’ve been in this building for years. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more concerned with getting the textile orders out on time. We don’t have a website with fancy photos. If someone wants to see what we have, they usually just come over to the Udyog Bhavan and talk to us directly. We sit around a small table in the corner to discuss the day’s tasks. It’s a very hands-on way of doing business. The lights are bright, and the floors are worn down from years of feet moving back and forth. It’s just how we work here in the city. We don't need anything more than our space and our samples.
