The clinic is right across from the Chembur Police Station in the East part of town, specifically at Shop No 05 in the Shubham Atlanta building. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always someone walking past the front window. Inside, we have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. The tiles are white and we spend a lot of time keeping them clean. There’s a smell of antiseptic that hits you as soon as you walk in, which is pretty standard for a dental place. We keep the equipment in the back rooms and try to stay on schedule, though things often run over when a case is more complicated than we thought. The phone rings a lot with people asking about times or directions to Implanet Dental Care. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to cleaning up the instruments. We usually keep the curtains closed halfway to stop the bright sun from coming in too strong during the afternoon. Opposite Chembur Police Station is a good landmark, so most people find us without too much trouble. It isn't a massive office, but it's enough for what we do every day. We see a lot of different faces, some local and some who travel from further away. It’s just steady work from morning until we lock up in the evening.
