Bhawani Jewellers

Bhawani Jewellers is on the first floor at No. 8/C 78A. We are located right by the Mumbadevi Mandir, so it’s always very busy outside with people visiting the temple. You can hear the bells and the chanting from our shop sometimes. To get to us, you have to walk up the stairs since we aren't on the ground level. The shop isn't very big, but we have glass cases filled with different pieces we have worked on or brought in. We spend a lot of time under the bright lamps, looking at small details through magnifying glasses. It’s quiet work compared to the street outside. We’ve been here for a long time, and many of the people who come in are families who have known us for years. We don't use any big advertisements or flashy signs to get attention. The temple being so close means there are always flowers and incense smells drifting in through the windows. We keep a small safe in the back and a heavy door for security, but mostly it feels like a friendly place. We sit on our stools behind the counter and talk to whoever comes through the door. It’s a specialized kind of work that requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. We are just a small local jeweler trying to provide what people need for their special occasions or everyday wear.
