Chanda Electricals

We’ve been running Chanda Electricals here at Chira Bazar for quite some time now. Our shop is right on the first floor, just above the fish market area on Princess Street. It’s always busy around here. You can hear the noise from the street all day long while we sort through wires and switches. Some days the stairs feel a bit steep, especially when we’re moving heavy boxes around. It’s a tight space but we make it work for us. Most people know where the fish market is, so they find our door easily enough. We keep the shelves stacked with whatever electrical stuff people usually come looking for. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we just sit there talking until it comes back. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a regular workplace where we get things done. We spend most of our mornings checking the stock and the afternoons helping whoever walks in with a list. The traffic outside is always a mess, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs and watch the crowd. It’s a simple life running a business in such a crowded spot. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our corner remains pretty much the same as always.
