Chaitanya Shah Co

Chaitanya Shah Co is based over in Dadar East at number 29. If you know Mumbai, you know Dadar is always moving. It’s a central spot, which is why we’ve stayed here. The office isn’t anything out of the ordinary. It’s just a room with desks, chairs, and some filing cabinets where we keep our stuff. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The trains are close by, so you can always hear the announcements if the wind is blowing the right way. It’s a busy atmosphere but it keeps us going. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing with fancy logos everywhere. We just have our name on the door and we get to work. Most days are spent handling paperwork or talking to people who drop by. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the other folks in the building and sometimes we stop to chat in the hallway. It’s a simple life and a simple way to run a business. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and go from there. It's been our home base for a long time and we like the familiarity of the place.
