We work out of Room 520 in Prasad Chambers. Being in Opera House means we are surrounded by the diamond and gem trade every single day. Our office is small but functional. We have the usual benches for sorting stones and some cabinets for keeping everything organized. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find luxury carpets or designer lights. We care more about having the right tools for the job. The building is always busy, with people rushing between floors. Sometimes the power flickers, but we just keep working. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses and making sure the grading is accurate. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing. We don’t have a big front desk or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, one of us just looks up from the bench when someone walks in. We have a routine that we’ve followed for years, and it works for us. The afternoon sun hits the windows directly, so we usually pull the shades down for a bit. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our business comes from the relationships we’ve built right here in the building. It’s a simple life of working with gems and making sure the orders are ready on time. We like the familiarity of this place and the people we see in the corridors every afternoon. It’s just a normal working day for us in the heart of Mumbai.
