We’ve been here at 195, Saheb Bldg., on the ground floor of Dr. Dadabhai Naroji Road for quite a long time. It’s a very busy street, but once you step inside, it’s all about the gear. People come in with their old cameras that stopped working or looking for a specific lens they can’t find anywhere else. We handle a lot of different brands and models. The shop isn't some big modern showroom. It’s a bit cluttered with boxes and tripods, but that’s how we like it. We know where every single piece of equipment is kept. Sometimes people just want to talk about photography or ask how to get a certain shot. We don’t mind that at all. Photography has changed a lot with everyone using phones now, but there are still plenty of folks who appreciate a real camera. We deal with the digital stuff and the old film ones too. It gets dusty being so close to the road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things. We don't have any big slogans or fancy marketing. We just open up the shutters every morning and see who comes through the door. It's a steady life here in the building. We try to be fair and just do the work that’s needed. If a camera can be fixed, we fix it. If it’s past its time, we’ll tell you that too.
