We are over in Santacruz East, right near the Grand Hyatt in Vakola. If you know this area, you know how the traffic gets around Centaur House. It is a busy place to be. We spend our days dealing with the usual pharmaceutical manufacturing routines. There is a lot to do, from managing the production floor to making sure all the paperwork is in order for the batches we send out. It is not always easy keeping up with everything, especially with how the weather is lately. Some of us have been working here for years, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The building itself has seen a lot of history. People often ask for directions because of the hotel nearby, so we see a lot of strangers passing by. Inside, it is mostly about the machines and the lab stuff. We do not really do much fancy talk here. We just make sure the medicine is ready when it needs to be. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks or the rains make the commute a mess, but that is just part of being in Mumbai. We keep things moving as much as we can. It is a job, like any other, but we pay attention to the details because the medicine has to be right. That is pretty much what goes on here daily.
