Our main office is located on K Dubash Marg in the Kalaghoda area, right across from the Jehangir Art Gallery. It’s a historic part of Fort, and we’re situated next to where Rhythm House used to be. Catering And Allied along with the Joss Restaurant headquarters operates from this old building. It’s a busy street with lots of tourists and art lovers walking by, but inside it’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and logistics for the food business. The ceilings are high like many buildings in this part of Mumbai, and there’s always a bit of a hustle going on with deliveries and staff meetings. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, so we’ve seen how Kalaghoda has turned into an artsy hub. Our space is functional; it’s where we plan menus, talk to suppliers, and manage the day-to-day runnings of the restaurant side of things. It’s not always perfectly quiet—the sounds of the street and the constant phone calls keep it lively. We have desks covered in schedules and order forms, which is just how it goes when you’re in the catering industry. There isn't much in the way of fancy decor in the office, just the essentials to keep everything moving. We’re part of the fabric of this area now, tucked into a corner of one of the city’s busiest spots, just getting on with our work. We mostly focus on making sure the food reaches the right place at the right time.
