Castrol India Ltd

Our office is over at the Technopolis Knowledge Park on Mahakali Caves Road in Mumbai. It’s a bit of a trek for some of us, especially with the local traffic, but we’ve been here for a while now. Castrol India Ltd is the name on the door. It’s an office environment, but it’s not as stiff as you might think. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and talking about oil and lubricants. The building itself is quite large, and sometimes it feels a bit maze-like if you’re new. We have our P.O. Box for all the mail that comes in, which is still a lot despite everyone using email these days. We don't really do the whole corporate ladder talk here. We're just people who know a lot about how engines should run. Most of us drink way too much tea during the afternoon slump. We see people from all walks of life coming through the business park. The weather in Mumbai can be a bit much, especially during the rains when the commute becomes a struggle, but the office stays dry. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just handle the logistics and the distribution side of things. It's a lot of coordination between different departments. Sometimes things get delayed, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It's practical work in a big city.
