We are located in Kurla West, specifically at the Phoenix Market City on L.B.S. Marg. Carrier Airconditioning And Refrigeration Ltd. has an office on the third floor, Unit No. 4, inside the UTC CCS product office. It is a different world inside the mall compared to the heat outside. Since we deal with air conditioning, we make sure it’s comfortable in here, but the work itself is still a lot of coordination. We aren't the ones selling units to shoppers downstairs; we handle the more technical and back-end side of things. There are a lot of computers and planners around. Looking out the window, you see the constant flow of traffic on L.B.S. Marg, which is never quiet. The office is standard, with desks and chairs that have seen better days. We get a lot of technicians coming in to pick up schedules or talk about a job at a big site. It can get a bit hectic when the weather gets really hot and everyone’s cooling systems start acting up. We just keep our heads down and manage the calls. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure parts are where they need to be. We don’t have a lobby with fancy plants. It’s just a place where we come to work and make sure things stay cold for everyone else. It’s a steady job in a busy part of Mumbai.
