You can find our office at DGP House on the 5th Floor, located at 88C, Old Prabhadevi Road. We go by the name Carlton Travel Goods Ltd, and we are part of the larger VIP Industries Ltd group. Even though we are part of a bigger setup, our floor at Prabhadevi feels pretty down-to-earth. It’s a typical office building with a lot of stairs and an elevator that is usually full. From our windows, you can see the busy streets of Prabhadevi and the rooftops nearby. We spend our days looking at designs for suitcases and bags. There are samples lying around everywhere—under desks, in corners, on top of cabinets. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest. We aren't the type to have perfectly clean desks every day. We are usually too busy making sure the logistics are moving. The traffic on Old Prabhadevi Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we often end up staying a bit later just to avoid the rush. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee and talk about things other than work. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have any fancy awards on the walls. We just focus on getting the products right and making sure they get to the shops. It’s a steady job in a busy part of Mumbai.
