Car Patlour

Our shop, which we call Car Patlour, is located in Goregaon West at Sasane Nagar. We’re in building number 5, Prathana Building, right on the Link Road. It’s a very busy area with cars constantly passing by, which is good for us. We mostly do car cleaning and some basic maintenance work. It’s a small place, and it often gets a bit messy with all the water and soap around. We don’t have any fancy waiting rooms with magazines or coffee machines. Most of our customers are locals who live around Goregaon and just want their cars to look decent again. The work is physical and can be quite tiring, especially during the summer months when it’s so humid. We use regular tools and sponges, nothing too high-tech. We just put in the effort to get the dirt off. Sometimes there’s a bit of a queue, and we have to tell people to come back in an hour. We’ve been at this Link Road location for a while now. It’s a simple business. We aren't part of some big franchise. It’s just us doing the work every day. The building is a bit old, but it serves us well. We like being in this part of Mumbai because there’s always something happening outside. We just keep our heads down and keep washing until the last car is done for the day.
