Caprihans India Ltd.

Our building at Caprihans India Ltd. is at Plot C-13/16 on Road 16 T in the Wagle Industrial Estate. It is one of those big blocks that has been here for a long time. You can tell by the way the paint looks on the exterior. We mostly deal with PVC and plastic sheets here. The machines run pretty much all the time, making a constant rhythm that you get used to after a week on the job. The smell of processed plastic is something you never really lose. We have a bunch of people working different shifts. The morning shift starts early when the air is still a bit cool. By noon, the whole place is buzzing. The office is upstairs and looks out over the factory floor. It is not very quiet, but we get the work done regardless. We spend a lot of time looking at rolls of material and checking for flaws. If a machine breaks down, everything stops and it gets strangely quiet, which we don't like. We get our tea from a stall just down the road. Usually, someone goes and brings a whole tray back for the staff. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Just some safety signs and old calendars. We keep track of everything on big ledgers and some computers that are getting a bit slow. It is a lot of work keeping things moving.
