Fams Rubo Mould Industries

Our workshop is spread across several galas like 4-A and 74-A in the Rehman Khan Compound. If you know Byculla Station Road, you know how busy and loud it can get around here. We are right in the middle of all that activity. Inside the galas, there is the constant sound of machines and the smell of rubber being processed. We spend our days working on different moulds and industrial parts that other companies need for their own products. It’s hands-on work, so our clothes usually have a bit of grease or dust on them by the end of the shift. We manage the production across the different units we have in the compound, which keeps us moving back and forth all day. The compound itself is an old place, filled with different small industries, so there is always someone loading a tempo or moving crates in the narrow lanes. We’ve got our heavy machinery set up and we keep a close eye on the output to make sure it’s what was asked for. It’s not a clean or quiet environment, but it’s where things get made. We deal with suppliers for the raw materials and then we see the finished moulds head out to customers. It’s a simple cycle of manufacturing that we have been doing for years now. We just focus on the machines and the orders we have to finish before the day ends. It is hard work but it keeps the business going.
