Burhani Suppliers is situated at 120, 9th Main in Phase III, near Mumbai Central Ho. It is a very crowded part of the city, but we actually like the energy of it. Our space is not very big, but we try to make the most of every single inch at that address. We deal with supplies mostly, just moving things from one place to another for our customers. Dealing with the traffic around Mumbai Central is probably the toughest part of the entire job. You really have to time your deliveries right or you will just be stuck in one spot for hours. We have been here long enough to know all the little shortcuts through the side streets. The office is a bit on the small side, with papers usually stacked up on the desks and the telephone ringing more than we would like it to. It is just a regular group of us working here. We do not have a fancy corporate office with big glass walls or anything like that. It is mostly about getting the orders packed and out the door on time. Phase III is a good location for us, even if the building itself is quite a bit older than the new ones being built nearby. We just focus on the daily work. People send us a list of things they need, and we get it ready for them. It is not a complicated business, but it keeps us busy from the morning until the evening. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment comes in. That is just how it goes.
