Brighton Synthetics

Our business, Brighton Synthetics, is tucked away in Baghdadi Estate, specifically at unit number 43 on R.S. Nimkar Marg. This part of Mumbai Central East is very industrial and always busy with trucks loading and unloading stuff. The estate itself is quite old, and the walls have that weathered look you only get in Mumbai. We have a lot of space inside, but it’s mostly taken up by rolls of synthetic materials and heavy boxes. It’s not a fancy office at all. There is usually a bit of dust in the air and the sound of machines or shouting from the neighboring units. We have been working from this location for a long time, and we are used to the rhythm of the estate. The elevator is often occupied or being repaired, so we find ourselves walking up and down a lot. It’s a grit-and-grind type of place. We don't have a website that looks professional or a fancy lobby for guests. Usually, people just come in, we talk about the materials, and that’s it. We handle the orders ourselves and make sure everything gets out on time, even when the Mumbai rain makes the roads a mess. It’s a straightforward operation. We just do our work in our corner of the estate and keep things moving as best as we can. It is just a regular job for us, day after day, in this busy part of the city.
