Bright Sun Pharma Machnary operates out of A-28 in the New Empire Industrial Estate, which is on Kondivita Road. If you know the area in Andheri East, you know the traffic around J.B. Nagar can be a real headache during the rush hour. Our workshop is usually full of the sound of metal and tools clanking. We have these large machines for pharmaceutical work that take up most of the floor space. It isn't a quiet place, and there’s usually a bit of grease on the rags near the workbench. We have an old kettle in the corner that we use for tea breaks, which is when we finally get a chance to sit down. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the machinery than the decor. The light in the afternoon hits the front windows and makes it pretty warm, so we keep the big industrial fans running all day long. Most of our regulars know to look for the sign near the main gate of the estate. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you, you just come in and find one of us on the floor. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do here. We just try to keep the parts organized and the orders moving out on time. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but our small corner of the estate stays pretty much the same.
