You can find us over at 12-A in the Ajay Mittal Estate, specifically building number 1. This is right on Andheri Kurla Road in Andheri East, which anyone from Mumbai knows is a very crowded and fast-moving area. Working at Bosch Ltd in this part of the city means we are always in the middle of the action. The building itself has been around for a bit and it feels like a real working man's place. We spend our hours dealing with various parts and technical stuff that goes into cars and machines. It’s not a quiet job because there is always something being moved or a phone ringing with someone looking for a specific component. The walk from the station can be sweaty during the monsoon, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, just a team of people who understand how these systems work and how to get them to the customers. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we take the stairs and talk shop. It is a bit noisy with the traffic outside on Andheri Kurla Road, but that’s just how Mumbai is. We have a lot of regular faces coming through the estate. We mostly just focus on the inventory and making sure the technical details are right for whatever order is on the desk that day. It's a plain, hardworking environment and we like it that way. No big speeches or fancy suits here, just the daily grind.
