Maruti Batteries

Our shop, Maruti Batteries, is located at Plot No 42, Shop No 7 in the Kalindi CHS. We are right in the middle of Rsc 19 in Gorai 2, Borivali West. It’s a very residential area, so we see a lot of the same people every day. The shop is small and usually smells a bit like metal and plastic because of all the batteries we keep in stock. We have them stacked up against the walls, from small ones for bikes to the heavy ones used for cars and inverters. Moving them around is a bit of a workout, so we don't really need a gym membership. The floor is concrete and has a few stains here and there, which is expected in this line of work. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. Sometimes customers come in looking worried because their car won't start, and we have to spend time testing their old batteries on the bench. It’s a hands-on job, and our clothes usually end up with a bit of dirt or grease by the end of the shift. The Kalindi building is a familiar landmark for the locals, and being on the ground floor means we are always visible to the people walking their dogs or heading to the market. It’s a local business through and through, focused on getting people back on the road without any fuss or unnecessary talking.
