Christmas Gift Box

Our place is right there in I.C. Colony on Holy Cross Road. If you are looking for us, we are pretty close to the HDFC Bank in Borivali West. It’s a lively neighborhood. Working with gift boxes means we have stacks of cardboard and paper everywhere. It gets a bit messy during the busy months. People are always coming and going. Sometimes the humidity in Mumbai makes the glue dry a bit slower than we want. We just have to be patient. We started this small thing because we liked the idea of packaging, and it just grew from there. The shop isn't huge, so when a big order comes in, we are basically tripping over boxes until they get picked up. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when you have so many different sizes and colors scattered around. Usually, the tea guy comes by around four and that is our break time. It’s a simple life. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just putting together boxes so people have something nice to put their presents in. The traffic near the HDFC Bank can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. It’s a lot of folding and taping. My fingers get sore after a long day of handling all that cardboard. But at the end of the day, seeing the stacks ready to go makes it feel like we did something useful.
