Bombay Medicines Company is located at D-10 in the Anand Nagar MIDC area in Ambernath. Being in an industrial zone means we are surrounded by other businesses and constant activity. Our building is a simple structure that serves its purpose for storing and distributing medicines. It’s not a place where you’d come for a tour. It’s a place where we work hard every day to manage inventory. The floors are concrete and the shelves go up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time checking expiration dates and making sure everything is stored at the right temperature. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it for long enough that it’s just routine now. The air in Ambernath can be heavy sometimes with all the factories around, but we’ve got our own little rhythm inside these walls. We aren't a big corporate chain with a fancy headquarters in the city. We are right here in the middle of the industrial belt where the action is. The staff is mostly people from the nearby areas. We share a laugh during lunch and then get back to the crates and boxes. It’s honest work, and we don't feel the need to dress it up with fancy words. We are just a medicine company doing our part in the supply chain. We keep the warehouse tidy and the records straight as best as we can every day of the week.
