Bollywood Film Equipments is based on the ground floor of Podar House, which is part of the Shivaji Housing Society in Jogeshwari West. Our address is 242, and you can’t miss it if you’re looking for gear. The place is usually filled with crates, tripods, and cables everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly, but we know where everything is. We spend our days cleaning lenses, checking lights, and making sure the cameras are ready for the next shoot. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy boxes around. Being in Jogeshwari means we are right in the middle of a lot of action. There are always people from the industry coming in to pick things up or drop them off at odd hours. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and displays. It’s more like a workshop or a garage. We have a few benches where we test the gear and a small desk for the paperwork. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks. We aren't big talkers; we just know our equipment and how to fix it when it breaks. It’s a busy life, and the phone never stops ringing with people asking if we have this or that in stock. We just do our best to help them out and keep the productions moving forward. It can be stressful, but it is what we know.
