Bokilal & Company

Bokilal & Company is located in the upper basement of Unit No 14 in Santacruz West. We are quite close to Milan Mall, which is the easiest way to tell people where we are. Being in a basement means we don't get much natural light, so we rely on those overhead tubes to keep the place bright. It’s a bit cooler down here though, which is nice during the summer months. We have been in Santacruz for quite a while. The space is filled with all the things we’ve collected over the years—files, equipment, and old ledgers. It feels like a real workshop or a back-office because that’s exactly what it is. We don't have a big sign on the main road, so you have to know where you’re going to find the entrance. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just focus on the business at hand. People come down the stairs, we greet them, and we get to work. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of stuff delivered, but we make it work. The noise from the street doesn't reach us as much down here, so it’s a bit of a quiet bubble compared to the rest of Santacruz. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs. That’s how we’ve always operated and it seems to work out just fine.
