Bluechip Cooling Towers is located off the Western Express Highway in Goregaon East. Being near the highway is great for getting trucks in and out, but the dust never stops. We spend half our time cleaning the windows only for them to get grey again by afternoon. Our place is more of a workshop and yard than a fancy office. We have large components for cooling towers sitting outside, waiting to be loaded. It’s loud here because of the traffic and the metalwork we do. We don't have a polished reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably have to step over some pipes or a toolbox. That’s just the nature of the business. We focus on building things that last. Most of us have been working with cooling systems for most of our lives. We know the sounds the machines make when they’re running right. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone with marketing talk. We just show up, do the welding or the assembly, and make sure it’s done right. The sun gets pretty hot in the yard, so we take breaks under the shade of the mango tree at the back. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us. We’ve been in Goregaon for years and we’re happy to stay right where we are. Sometimes the cats from the neighborhood come by for scraps during lunch and we let them stay.
