We are located at DGP House on the 5th floor, over on Old Prabhadevi Road. The building is a familiar sight in this neighborhood, and being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding area, though we’re usually too busy to look out the windows. We work with a lot of plastic products and luggage items, so you’ll often see samples and prototypes sitting on the desks or stacked in the corners. The office has a bit of an older feel to it, with heavy wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. It isn’t a high-tech startup vibe here; it’s more of a traditional setup where everyone knows their role and gets on with it. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and distributors, and the office can get quite loud when everyone is talking at once. The lighting is a bit dim in some spots, but we have our desk lamps. Most of us take the train to get here, so the morning starts with everyone cooling off from the walk from the station. We don't have any of that corporate jargon or mission statements posted on the walls. We just come in, handle the orders, and try to keep things running smoothly. It’s a straightforward place to work, and we like the fact that it feels like a real office rather than a showroom.
