Our place is at A-275(B) in the 2nd Stage of the Peenya Industrial Estate. If you know Peenya, you know it's a lot of factories and noise. Bioresidue Energy Technology is right in the middle of all that. We work with a lot of organic waste and energy stuff, so the workshop can get a bit messy. There are pipes and machines all over the floor. It's not a place where you'd want to wear your best clothes. We spend most of our time out in the back area where the actual work happens. The office part is just a small room with a couple of old desks and a filing cabinet that sticks. It gets really hot in the afternoons, and the fans don't do much except move the warm air around. We've been at this Peenya location for a few years. The trucks come and go all day on our street. It’s a lot of manual work and checking gauges. We drink a lot of water and try to stay out of the sun. It’s a tough environment, but we’re used to the smell and the noise of the machines. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just come in, do the technical work, and go home tired. The neighbors are all industrial shops too, so we fit right in. There’s always someone welding or banging on metal nearby. That’s just life in Peenya. We keep our boots by the door.
