Bhomiyaji Diamonds

Bhomiyaji Diamonds is based at 4/31 in the Navjeevan Society, right off Lamington Road near Grant Road. It is a very busy part of the city, always full of people and cars, but once you get inside the society, it quietens down a little bit. We work out of a small room where we handle our diamond business. It’s not a flashy jewelry store with lights and mirrors everywhere. It is more of a place where the actual work happens. We have a safe, a few sturdy tables, and the specialized lamps we need for looking at the stones. Most of our day is spent peering through loupes and sorting through small packets. It takes a lot of patience and the air in the room can get a bit still, so we keep the window open when the weather allows. Being in the Navjeevan Society means we have been part of this community for a long time. People around here know us, and we know them. We don't use any fancy marketing talk or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a small outfit doing our thing with diamonds. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to walk up the stairs, but we've gotten used to it. It is a practical life, focusing on the quality of the stones and making sure our records are right. That is just our daily routine.
