Bhojohori Manna

Bhojohori Manna is tucked right in that area between Jogeshwari West and Malad West. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic passing by all day. Inside, it usually smells like whatever is simmering on the stove, which changes depending on the hour. We have these heavy wooden chairs that have seen better days but they still hold up just fine. Most of the crew here has been working together for years, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing. We see a lot of families coming in on the weekends, usually dragging extra chairs to the ends of tables. It gets a bit loud when the kids start running around, but nobody seems to mind. Sometimes the AC acts up a little when it's really hot outside, but we keep the fans going. We focus on the cooking and making sure the rice is steamed just right. It's not a place with soft music or dim lights. We just keep the overheads on and keep moving. If you walk past in the afternoon, you’ll probably see one of us sitting out front taking a quick break on a plastic stool. The neighborhood is changing quite a bit with new buildings and roads, but we are still here doing the same thing we’ve always done. Just a simple place to get a meal without any fuss or worry.
