Being at Nariman Point means we are in the middle of everything, but it’s mostly just a lot of concrete and elevators. We are on the 7th floor of Free Press House, right near the Raheja Center. If you look out the window, you see other office buildings and a tiny bit of the street way down below. It’s a busy place. Sindhi Colony is nearby and the 3rd Cross area is always packed with people heading to work. We do a lot of industrial stuff, but in this office, it's mostly paperwork and meetings. The 7th floor is okay, but the wait for the lift can be long in the mornings. We have these desks that have been here for years. It’s not one of those modern offices with bean bags and free snacks. We just have a water cooler and a lot of filing cabinets. We’re part of a big operation, but in this room, it’s just a group of us trying to keep things moving. The air conditioning is always a bit too cold. We go down to the street for lunch because there are so many food stalls around here. You see everyone from big bosses to delivery guys eating at the same places. It’s just the daily grind in Mumbai. We’ve been here at number 75 for a long time. It’s just where we work every day, year after year.
