Our place is on Plot No. 13 in Pratap Nagar, over in Bhandup West. It’s a bit of a crowded area with a lot of small industries and houses all mixed together. The name Dawson Healthcare has been with us for a while, even if there’s a typo on some of our older signs. We mainly handle medical supplies and healthcare products. It’s a lot of inventory work, keeping track of boxes and making sure everything is stored properly. The building we are in is nothing special, just a regular concrete structure that keeps the stock dry and safe. We don’t have a big reception area or any fancy chairs for visitors. Most of the time, we are in the back moving crates around or checking the paperwork. Bhandup West can be a bit of a crawl in terms of traffic, especially on the narrow roads near Pratap Nagar. We have a few people working here who have become like family over the years. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the news. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just managing the healthcare items and getting them sent out. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we are just doing our part to keep the supplies moving. The neighborhood is noisy but we’ve grown used to it. It’s just our daily routine in this part of Mumbai.
